ALL DECKED OUT + chevron love + a giveaway!

I went a little crazy this year with decorating for Christmas - as in it was more or less completely done a week or two before Thanksgiving.  Don't judge.  It just seemed like the right thing to do.....personally, I love having a Christmas tree up and all of the other fun, glittery, shiny goodness going on.  Don't you?  I'm always a little sad the first few weeks after Christmas because the house looks so bare and "blah" after we've taken it all down. This year I have the remedy for that - I'm leaving it up through January.  No lie.  The New Year should get some love too, right?

Anyway, here's a glimpse at the White House....all decked out for Christmas!

Notice those awesome red chevron pillows?  I found them at The Fabricate on Etsy and knew they were meant to be mine!  Tara, the mastermind behind them, was kind enough to agree to give away

Our mini "latte lounge".... I'm pretty sure I've bought 1,800 bags of red hots so far this month!

And the view on the other side of the tree... things are rarely picture perfect at our house, and that's how we like them!  Notice Rose over there laying on Jackson's play mat.....in hindsight, maybe wood flooring throughout our house wasn't the brightest idea?

So there you go - a quick, sneak-peek at my little casa!  It's made things really cheery and fun.....Cason handled everything outside and the lights look awesome!!  I think we're ready for Jackson's first Christmas!!  Yay!  Well, minus a fun little quote or verse on the chalkboard - that's still on my "to-do" list.
